Brenta Riviera

DURATION: one day

TRANSPORT: train and Burchiello

SUGGESTED PERIOD: March to October

The Brenta Riviera is one of the most evocative and fascinating areas of the Veneto region, located between Padua and Venice. Here, you can admire many historical villas built between the 17th and 18th centuries, evidence of the wealth and power of the Venetian nobility of the time.

Among the most famous and visited villas on the Riviera are Villa Pisani, Villa Foscari known as ‘La Malcontenta’ and Villa Widmann. Each villa has its own history and architectural style, but all are characterised by the magnificence of the interiors, decorations and frescoes that tell of a bygone era.

It is possible to visit these villas by taking a cruise on the Burchiello, a typical Venetian boat that sails along the river Brenta. The experience is very evocative, allowing you to admire the villas from the viewpoint of the river and to enjoy a unique and romantic atmosphere. During the cruise, it is also possible to taste typical local products, such as the famous spritz and cicchetti, small Venetian snacks.

A truly unforgettable experience.
