TREVISO AND THE GARDEN OF VENICE

Project financed with the Veneto Region’s POC

In the territory of the OGD “Città d’Arte e Ville Venete del Territorio Trevigiano” (Cities of Art and Venetian Villas of the Treviso Area), the Temporary Business Association (ATI) “Treviso and the Garden of Venice” is established. This association is dedicated to the development of national and international inbound tourism to foster the recovery of tourism demand in an innovative and lasting way, facilitated by the formation of an aggregation of the most representative businesses in the area, under the direction of the OGD.

The ATI aims to initiate and promote an aggregation capable of meeting the changing needs of tourists by implementing targeted activities for specific markets and supporting the competitiveness of businesses in tourist destinations through interventions to qualify the offer and innovate products/services, strategically and organizationally. The aggregated businesses, strongly representative of the destination, are the true beneficiaries of the promotion and commercialization project and are directly involved in hospitality opportunities, in meetings between supply and demand, and in initiatives involving journalists, bloggers, and tour operators.

The promotion of the territory and its tourist products, in line with the coordinated image of the Veneto Region, is the main element uniting the businesses with the common goal of promoting an integrated and organized tourist offer, providing reliable, easily accessible services that are communicated in a personalized manner according to target groups. The tourist destination, geographically identified with the area of the OGD “Città d’Arte e Ville Venete del Territorio Trevigiano,” is rich in excellence, services, and points of historical, cultural, artistic, and gastronomic interest located in its major centers: Treviso, Castelfranco Veneto, Asolo, Valdobbiadene, Conegliano, Vittorio Veneto, and Oderzo.

The definition of objectives, the design and planning of activities, the selection of the most important tourist products, and the selection of participating businesses are all based on a thorough study of target markets in line with the OGD’s DMP and the 2021 PAT, integrated with analyses conducted by Enit offices worldwide and data processed directly by the Federated Tourist Observatory of the Veneto Region.

This initiative was carried out with funding from the Complementary Operational Program (POC) to the POR FESR 2014-2020 of the Veneto Region
