The Foscarini is located in a 16th Century Villa belonged to one of the oldest and most important dynasties in Venice: the Foscarini. It is one of the dwellings on the mainland where the members of this noble family have lived for a long time. In the following years the villa had different owners, including the Palma family. At the beginning of 1900 during World War I it was the head building for the “XII Armata degli Arditi” military corps, pride of the Royal Italian Army.
The property consists of 3 units within an Italian style park where secular trees, such as the 2 important magnolias welcome guests in an impressive way.
The Villa is one of the two oldest buildings, dating back to the 16th century. It has a structure that characterizes the ancient Venetian villas on the route between Venice and Treviso and makes it unique.
The Barchessa is the lateral body of the hotel. All the rooms on the first floor have a roof with exposed beams, typical of ancient structures, and are equipped with all the necessary comforts.
It is a reinterpreted restoration of an existing structure from the 1960s, which was given the name Ca’ Nova, from the Venetian Ca’ house Nova new.
